Uniten Charity Run :The Race Day

The idea of joining this run is to give an exposure to a friend of mine on this running curcuit. The distance is only 6km I guess it would'nt be hard as I have finished 10km and 12km before. And I was wrong, spoke to soon I guess. The race was easy, no hill, mostly flat tarmac but having stomach cramp every kilometre relly does'nt help. It's getting worst when I stop at the water station to have a cup of Revive.  Anyway I manage to finish the race at at dismal timing of 37:24.471.

As this is a charity run, no finishing medal provided. But heck, its only 6km, U should be ashamed asking a finisher medal for it. For first 800 runnert to finish, they will be given goodies bag. The goodies bag is the only reason I manage to finished the race. I don't want to come home empty handed. I will kill my motivation to join another race.

I need to train more as I have 1 big running comp to join. Engergizer Night Race 2012. I will compete in 15.5km and as usual I just targeting to finish the race. Finishing is just like winning for me. No way to get  podium finish or top 20 with my weight.

Come to think of it, its hillarious to finish just for a goodies bag. But it works. It made me finish my run. Fullstop.
